Season 1 Episode 10
Date: 11th November, 2020
TITLE: The End of the Beginning
A week without writing you made me restless during the whole thing. It's so amazing to have finally come to this end. My last episode of Season 1 of this blog. Hello everyone reading this. It feels just amazing to be writing this right now.
To start something from scratch and just stick with it till the end. I sure made mistakes. I'd say only two episodes were edited.(On Facebook) When I just started I barely had anything to write about. And I think it's only natural that my content would only come up on the day I needed to post an episode. It was funny how I kept telling myself
"Okay I'll write 2 days before Wednesday and remain editing till the day I post." The brilliant vision I pictured LOL.
Seemed to never learn, did I?
It took until the Episode 8 when I started getting disciplined to write better content. I used to struggle to find something to write about. It was so hard for me to to spend a week just trying capture a certain topic and just compile it into a little episode in just a week.
And no, it wasn't hard for me to spend some hours to write an episode. I love writing and I just decided to take advantage of it. To make forge it into something more valuable for my time. And I can honestly say I still got a ways to go but I'll keep pushing.
Of course I started this series with relation to my game dev process and all the work I do. But I've been having a rough time dealing with my game and so trying to find content around my game would have been a cycle of repetition which I totally was psyched to write about. But I have full hopes that will not be the case in future.
It won't
And even though the views were not so good (Kind of expected this though), I didn't really mind even though it stung a little. The real goal was to make this something I can do. And last week proved that a 100x over. I was tempted to keep this season going till forever but every show must have it's end.
But this isn't the end of the beginning. We just started the train and we need to ride on while the engine's still running. Season 2 will come soon. And it will be much better. I don't regret starting this thing. Because you have no idea how long it took to start blogging.
I am really shy
But as soon as I just starting smashing the keyboard, everything starts falling into place. It's an awesome experience I can't get enough of. It doesn't start pretty, but eventually it gets into shape with time and new experiences.
