Season 2 Episode 7
Date: 5th February, 2021
TITLE: The time machine's not working

So many projects, so much time, so much thinking and so much pressure.

Ignore that first line if you can. I didn't know where to start. Actually what's been going on is since my phone's been at its limits, and which is why it has affected my internet activity by a margin. I guess I can say that I'm freaking out right now.

 As we wait

It was like a time machine for me. Great way to skip time especially when working with Unity on my Laptop. It takes roughly ten to fifteen minutes for Unity projects to load up. Though with Unity 2020.1 however, it loads faster and works well so far. I'm even surprised to see it working better than I expected.

But with my PC, it still takes quite some time for projects to work and sometimes hangtimes if I haven't worked on it in a while. This is where my phone would come in.

I've been working on Mighty Maze since July 2020. So you can imagine how much time I spend waiting for Unity to open the project files. The waiting would happen twice or thrice and usually Mondays to Fridays.

So you can calculate how much time I lost waiting like that. Believe me it's annoying enough to make someone give up, especially if you can't help it at the time. So while waiting I would leave the chair and go to my room where the is and scout the internet for any useful I can search for.

And I don't even stay long enough cause my passion gets the best of me. But the phone did do a good job making ten minutes feel like one minute. Thus my mood and sanity were always at satisfiable levels.

Why not just browse on the PC instead?

That's easy. My short answer is that YouTube doesn't work on my phone. My long answer. The PC can, apart from phone calls and SMSs, do much more that what my phone does.

So when I have any important business to do on the internet, my PC is on the job. But the downside is that it creates more opportunities to be distracted. And so far YouTube is still a trouble for me.

My phone however can't do so much. This gives me more chance to browse the internet wisely and educatively. And more of a boost to get back to work.

downside is that it's annoying and inconvenient that I have to be with my PC to do easy stuff that my phone should be doing. Like YouTube

for example.

 We'll miss it though

Too bad it's at it's limit now. I hoped to meet this point in a better situation. Now that it's been like a week since then, my mind is now much more aware of time. So I freak out. I'm talking about screaming and yelling like maniac. Actually it's just trying to everything once.

Why that's the case? Try hiding your phone for a week and count how many times you will subconsciously ask yourself what can you do and then count how many you ask yourself that question on the times when you were supposed spend your leisure time on the phone. Can you do that?

So anyway, I'm just trying to rearrange everything now that the phone is out commission. And since school is now open, it's making me get a little nervous at how I'll manage it without a phone to get information or more importantly, communication.

Plus in much I'll celebrating a whole year in doing game development so I'm in quite in thousand piece puzzle you know.

But what can I say? All we I can do is keep moving forward
